I thank the two Lakshmis – Dr Lakshmi Sundar and Lakshmi Narasimhan of Bhawna Theatre, the opportunity to be with these delightful kids every saturday 2 hours in the afternoon.

Here is Nagamanjari – the beautiful little girl who will be my strongest female protagonist in the play…

Still not got a name… let me call it Boom Boom Chak Chak or BBCC in the current fashion.

Now the cast and the crew of BBCC consists of kids and adults in all shapes, sizes and thoughts. Two things in common though is they all have food names like I am rosagulla, Sandy who is the dance resource is gulabjamun, silent saina is burger, babu is rice, arjun is chicken rice,  and one of the lakshmis is halwa, the other ladoo. We will fatten ourselves just by calling each other thus. Of course there are the healthy ones like shaila the tomato, sahana the apple and priyanka the carrot too. having food names is a rite of passage this year for the group!

The other common thread is a zest for life! you should see it to believe it.

Righto.. will keep you posted as the plot thickens… right now I have to brew the script!
